Newest Pokemon Remakes Allow Trainers to Soar Through the Skies

Flying through the clouds on your Pokemon adventure!
A brand new ability to fly in the skies of Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire has been announced. Detailed on the game's official web page, trainers will not be flying like in the older games, but rather, soaring.

Legendary Pokemon Latios and Latias, first introduced in the original Ruby and Sapphire, are the key to this new ability. Sometime in the game, players will not only obtain one of these legendaries (dependent upon the title being played) but also gain access to the Mega Evolution of this legendary. Using the Mega evolution, players will get access to the new ability Soar, which allows players to fly in the skies over Hoenn.

Mega Latios...or Latias? Definitely Latios.

Unlike previous iterations, this is flight controlled in full 3D space, allowing the player to move from one end of the map to the other through the clouds. This ability is also linked to obtaining legendary Pokemon from previous games, which can be encountered within Mirage clouds. Players can also participate in sky battles, taking on flying Pokemon while soaring above the land of Hoenn. For more on Pokemon, 3DS or gaming today, stay tuned to The Jesters Court.
