Another month, another update to the Xbox One. Microsoft has released details about the next update, which looks to focus on some more TV functionality as well as customization for player profiles:

  •  Profile Customization
    • Players can now set up custom backgrounds. This includes the art from achievements, allowing players to show off those hard earned points.
    • Location and a small bio can now be shared as part of player profiles.
    • Players can now set up Achievements, Clips or showcase items to show off when other players access their profile.
    • Game clips can now be shared on Twitter using the share button.
  • Television Improvement:
    • Live TV Trending is being added to OneGuide. This new tab displays the top 20 most watched TV shows. This can also filter on what is trending on Twitter and Xbox TV.
    • Recent and Favorites have been added to MiniGuide.
Aside from these touches, there are a few updates to SmartGlass as well as the Preview section for all new updates. To see the full list, check out this post on Xbox Wire, and for more gaming news, keep it locked on The Jesters Court.
