The Rock Band Network Finally Closes Down

Set that sick track.

Harmonix has finally shuttered the Rock Band Network. Designed to increase the amount of songs on Rock Band without Harmonix loading them up, the Rock Band Network allowed bands to add their own songs to Rock Band via paid DLC.

The system was set up in 2010 and added over 2000 songs to the Rock Band catalog. Though the tool will no longer be usable, all tracks that have already been released will stay up on the respective online stores to allow players to continue to purchase them.
