Kingdom Hearts 3D May Get an HD Remake

Please come to Vita!
Though very little Kingdom Hearts news was discussed at Tokyo Game Show this year outside of Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD, there are small bits of information regarding the Kingdom Hearts franchise that have been picked up, including some interesting news about Kingdom Hearts 3D.

According to a tip given to Siliconera, Square Enix is interested in keep fans busy between Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD and Kingdom Hearts III since the release windows are so far apart. A separate tip also expressed interest in giving Kingdom Hearts 3D (also titled Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance) it's own HD version, though specifics were not discussed.

This could lead one to speculate that the HD version of Kingdom Hearts 3D will help tide fans over until Kingdom Hearts III is ready. It'll be interesting to see how this is done, as each of the previous HD versions have included multiple games, and Kingdom Hearts 3D is the only game in the franchise without an HD version.
