Nintendo held a Nintendo Direct this week detailing some upcoming games for 3DS and Wii U and 343 Industries teams up with ESL to create the Halo Championship Series. • Luigi's Mansion is Heading to Arcades in Japan - Apparently Mario Kart will not be the only Nintendo franchise to make it's way to modern day arcades. Luigi's Mansion is getting an arcade version, and was tested over the weekend at specific locations in Japan. Read more...

• 20 Percent of Players Downloaded Super Smash Bros. for 3DS - Despite how hard it is to get hard numbers on downloads for major game releases on any of the consoles, Nintendo of America president and COO Reggie Fils-Aime has confirmed that 20 percent of purchases for Super Smash Bros. for 3DS were digital.
