Splatoon Will Feature Social Hub For Between Game Modes

Today during the Nintendo Direct, the company announced a new feature to 3rd Person Shooter Splatoon: a social hub.

Acting as a main lobby, players can utilize this area as a hub to hang out with friends and set up games. Players will also be able to purchase gear and weapons, which not only change player appearance, but stats, such as strength and speed, as well. Weapon upgrades and super weapons can also be purchased here.
