Nintendo Cancelling Club Nintendo For New Program

Nintendo has officially announced that the player appreciation program Club Nintendo will be discontinued.

After being live for six years, the program will officially close down on July 1, 2015, with all coins collected by players being deleted at that time. Speaking through an official notice to members, players can continue to receive coins towards the membership up until March 31st. All members will receive a free download code for Flipnote Studio 3D next month, so go here to get more details on the software.

It's not all bad news for fans though, as the closure of Club Nintendo is happening to make way for a new program, though no details are available at this time. For more news on Nintendo and gaming news today, keep your eyes on The Jesters Court.
