Nintendo Amiibos Sell Very Well Within First Weeks

Nintendo has announced the first sales numbers for the first shipment of Amiibos, and it's not surprising. 

According to Nintendo (via press release through IGN) Amiibos have sold over 710 000 units in the US since launching on November 21st. The top three selling Amiibos were Link, Mario, and Pikachu.

Though little else was known, the company did reveal that the number of Amiibos corresponds with roughly with number of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U units sold. For more news on Nintendo, Amiibos and gaming news today, keep it locked to The Jesters Court.
