Gamer's Source: SDCC Edition 2014

Hello and welcome to the Gamer's Source, your destination for gaming information. Because the San Diego Comic Con is going on this week, I've decided to comprise a list of the stories coming out of it. Rather than the typical format, here's list of stories. Some are more talkative than others, but the information is all there. So, without further ado, the news:

  • Halo: Nightfall, the exclusive Xbox One television series will be featured on the broken Ring from Halo: Combat Evolved. Jameson Locke, the main protagonist, is a Spartan to be who will grow into a more powerful character. Locke will also be playable in Halo 5: Guardians and Nightfall will have a much bigger role with Halo 5 than Forward Onto Dawn did with Halo 4.
  • 2K is teasing something Bioshock on Twitter. (BIOSHOCK VITA?!?!?! PLEASE!!!!!)
  • Ubisoft has launched a competition to climb to the top of Mount Everest and play Far Cry 4 at the summit.
  • GOG, the DRM-free gaming service, has launched on Linux, with a lineup of 50 games, all at a discount for launch.
  • Titanfall Frontier's Edge DLC will release July 31st.
  • BioWare is teasing something creepy.
  • Bayonetta 2 announces a new Co-op mode that allows players to connect online to take on challenges, including Boss Battles and horde battles. The mode has player and weapon select as well as a betting system that allows players to use in game currency to bet on which team will have a higher score to obtain even more points.
  • Middle Earth - Shadow of Mordor will be out a week earlier, coming out on September 30th.
  • Curve Studios is porting over The Swapper to Wii U.
  • Until Dawn, Journey and Unfinished Swan confirmed for PS4.
  • Last of Us: Remastered is getting a Photo Mode.
  • Tekken 7 gets a new trailer
There's plenty more news coming, so keep your eyes on The Jester's Court and, as always, keep the conversation going.
