Gamer's Source 7/23/2014

Hello and welcome to the Gamer's Source, your destination for the gaming conversation. Nintendo has released a brand new update for the Wii U that allows data transfer between consoles and . So, without further ado, the news:

Nintendo has released another update for the Wii U, this time allowing players to transfer over data from one Wii U to another. This transfer is an all or nothing transfer, moving over all game data, application data and user profiles from one Wii U to another. Though not a feature that many will use often, I can see where this will be helpful for families that have children moving out who are off to college or out on their own and want to keep all of their game data.

Here's a list of smaller, self explanatory stories from today:
  • Sega is releasing a two player Transformers arcade game...in Japan only.
  • Nintendo will use Luigi's 'mean muggin' in Japanese commercials for Mario Kart 8.
  • Table Top Racing is coming to PS Vita August 5th.
  • Entwined releases for PS Vita and PS3 today.
  • Two new FREE maps release for Killzone: Shadowfall out now.
  • The first 100 cars for Forza: Horizons 2 have been revealed.
  • Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris will launch on December 9th.
  • Don't Starve: Reign of Giants out now for PS4.
  • Pre-order Batman: Arkham Knight to play as Red Hood.
