Sony Settles with FTC Over Vita Advertising and Next Year's Assassin's Creed Has Been Leaked - Gamers Source

Sony settles with the FTC over exaggerating the abilities of the PS Vita in launch advertisements and Next Year's Assassin's Creed has been leaked ahead of schedule. • FTC Tells Sony to Issue Compensation for Failed Vita Promises  - The Federal Trade Commission has settled with Sony Computer Entertainment America over charges that the company intentionally misled the public with the advertising surrounding the launch of the company's handheld PlayStation Vita in 2011 into 2012. • Next Year's Assassin's Creed Has A New Time Period - Leaked much earlier today, Ubisoft has confirmed details on next years Assassin's Creed, and it looks like we are jumping time periods once more.  Read more...

• PS4 Will Be Cheaper Than Xbox One in China - It looks like the PlayStation 4 will be cheaper than Xbox One when it launches in China, despite the price drop of Xbox One globally. Read more...
• Super Smash Bros. Creator Unlikely to Make Next Game in Franchise - Though there hasn't been an entry in the Super Smash Bros. franchise confirmed, it is more than likely happening seeing how successful the franchise has been on both 3DS and Wii U. • Great But Brief Pixelated Horror With A Changing Story Makes Home Great - The Take Your Time Review - The horror genre has grown quite a bit since it has permeated visual mediums. There are now multiple sub-categories, from gore fest horror stories filled with buckets of blood and enough dismemberment to turn you stomach, to survivor horror, where the biggest fear is not having the supplies to survive. Some where outside of these bigger categories lies the subtle horror, where the biggest fear is what you can't see, and that is where Home lies. Filled with mystery and a distinct lack of visuals and sound, Home leaves the scary parts up to what you can imagine, which makes it a fantastic game to play for all fans of horror. Read more...
• Episode One of Game of Thrones is a Good Start For Fans - The Take Your Time Review - For quite some time fans of the Game of Thrones series have been looking for a game worthy of it's namesake. Though previous attempts have failed, it looks like Telltale Games may have the secret sauce to make the ambitious, interwoven story work in the video game realm, though newcomers may get lost in the attempt to make a story that is relevant to the TV series.
