Luigi's Mansion is Heading to Arcades in Japan

Now played with light gun action!

Apparently Mario Kart will not be the only Nintendo franchise to make it's way to modern day arcades. Luigi's Mansion is getting an arcade version, and was tested over the weekend at specific locations in Japan.
Posted by a Twitter follower (and found by GameStalk.net), the arcade cabinet is being created by Capcom. Though that may sound surprising, this is not without precedent, as both Mario Kart arcade cabinets were created by Bandai-Namco for Nintendo. 
The game looks to place players in the role of Luigi, using a light gun to emulate his Poltergust 5000 to take on ghosts in the scary mansion. Hopefully, we will see a Western release. For more on Nintendo, arcade games and gaming news today, keep your eyes on The Jesters Court.
