Maybe this $50 price drop will stay around for a while... |
Speaking through it's official news website, Corporate Vice President of Devices and Studios Yusuf Mehdi noted "shortly, we will have sold in to retailers more than 10 million Xbox One consoles."
These numbers are not sold through to customers, but retailers would not stock the console if it was not being demanded. It seems that $50 price drop is helping Microsoft along this holiday season. Mehdi also mentions that Xbox One has been leading in sales for the past two weeks, which is right in the time line of said price drop. Black Friday is almost amongst us, and it will be very interesting to see how well all three consoles sell in stores.
