Super Smash Bros. for 3DS Huge Success in US

A new challenger appears.. in the market!

Nintendo has announced the sales numbers for Super Smash Bros. for 3DS in the US, and they are doing great. Within the first two days of release, the handheld iteration of the popular fighting franchise has sold over 705 000 copies across retail and digital.

Of the units sold, 135 000 copies were sold digitally. Also, the game has helped the sales of the 3DS, increasing units sold to over 140 000 in the month of September, which is a 55 percent increase over the units sold in August. This news comes hot of the tail of Nintendo's announcement that the game sold over 1 million copies in Japan.
