PS4 is Outselling Xbox One Globally

The war has just begun!

The sales games continue as we head into the holiday season, and it's looking like Sony has the advantage. According to a recent report, PS4 is outselling Xbox One by 40 percent, globally.

According to the report, written by Ars Technica, despite Xbox One selling over 7.5 million units worldwide, PS4 is still in the lead with at least over 10 million units. These numbers are calculated through August of this year. This is not 100 percent accurate, as Ars had to guess with Microsoft's numbers, due to the fact that the company does not distinguish between Xbox 360 and Xbox One consoles sold, but it's a pretty fair guesstimate as what these two consoles are doing.
