Destiny has officially become the best selling brand new video game franchise of all time. According to publisher Activision, Destiny has brought in over $325 million in the first five days.
Players have logged in over 100 million hours within the first week and taken on over 130 million different activities. It's interesting to not that despite the monetary numbers, no official sales figures of units sold has been revealed. "Destiny is a platform that will grow and evolve and we will continue to work closely with our partners at Bungie to bring a long line of new experiences and content to life in the game," says Activision's Eric Hirshberg.
