A Movie About Tetris is Real, and Apparently a Sci Fi Film

Blocks are falling everywhere.

The Tetris Company announced today that there will, in fact, be a blockbuster film around the game franchise.

"Everyone knows that Tetris is one of the best known, most beloved brands in the world. What everyone doesn't know yet is this epic sci­‐fi story that we’re going to tell. That's what's really exciting," says Threshold Entertainment chairman Larry Kasanoff. Aiming to be a "science-fiction epic", the movie will be produced by Kasanoff, with executive producers The Tetris Company and Threhold's own Jimmy Ienner.
