Xbox One Preview Members Get Controller Update

As of yesterday, members of the Xbox Preview Program are now able to update their controllers to the latest firmware update, which adds several new improvements.

Revealed on Major Nelson's blog, the version 1.2.2236.0 update will help controllers connect to the console faster, taking the connection time from 4 or 5 seconds to around 2 seconds. The patch also addresses some smaller issues that have been brought up by Xbox Preview Program members in the past. 

To snag the update, you must be a member of the invitation-only program. There is no mention at this time of when the update will be available to the masses. For more news on Xbox One and gaming news today, keep it locked to The Jesters Court.
