Announced through the developer page on the Apple website, the company will be upping the size of game binaries from 2GB to 4 GB, effectively doubling the size of games on iOS. This is the first time the company has upped the size since the inception of the App Store.
This is great news, as games that have been truncated and stripped down for mobile phones can be made for a better experience than the current mobile phone ports (I'm looking at you, Bioshock). For more news on gaming today, stay tuned to The Jesters Court.
